You don't need a MasterCard, Visa, etc. merchant account to add e-commerce to your web site! PayPal, a
third-party e-commerce system made popular by ebay, can be used to collect donations, registration fees, payments for products, etc.
MouseWorks registers your PayPal account and associates it with your business's checking or savings account. We then insert the PayPal code in desired locations within the web site. When someone makes a purchase or
donation, you receive notification via email. You then log into your PayPal account to see details of the transaction and transfer the funds (less the small transaction fee) to your bank account.
SETTING UP YOUR ACCOUNT
In order to set up your PayPal account, we need the following information:
- Name of Bank
- Type of Account (checking or savings)
- Account Number
- Routing Number (see example below)
CONFIRMING YOUR ACCOUNT
Once we've entered your bank account information into the PayPal system, PayPal will begin the account verification process by making two small deposits
into your bank account. After 2-3 days, call your bank or log in to your bank account to find out what the exact amounts of these two deposits are. Send us this information and we'll complete the verification process.

and log into your account using your email address and the password provided by MouseWorks. From there you can view the payment history, withdraw funds from your
PayPal account into your checking/savings account, send money requests, etc. The user interface at PayPal is
